The Rage Game Engine, associated products published on sulaco.co.za and sourceforge.net and all documentation and source code may be distributed,
used and modified free of charge.
This licence does not limit the use of the engine in commercial closed source projects, provided that the following rules are adhered to:
1) If the rage engine (in part or as a whole) is used in any project / software, credit must be given to http://www.rage-game-engine.za.net/ (Refrenced as "Credit" in this License agreement)
1.1) Credit must be given as a mention in the credits page or about page / form and associated documentation of any product using the engine (in part or as a whole) and must be in a readable format.
2) A link (anchor also known as an href) to http://www.rage-game-engine.za.net/ on any website promoting software created using the rage game engine, would be appreciated, but not required.
3) Any source code modifications to the rage engine must be sent back to the owner of Sulaco.co.za via email or other electronic communications medium, so that it can be integrated into the original copy of the code. Contact details available at the bottom of this agreement.
3.1) The above (ref:3) is done so that the engine grows through use, and more users / independant game developers benefit from the changes.
Disclaimer and warranty
- BECAUSE THE PROGRAM IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU (The licensee). SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

Changes to this licence agreement
This license agreement may change from time to time without prior notice to the licensees.
